War and Glory

WAR AND GLORY

In the morning of the war

While the boldest booted boor

Gave for king and country gore

And puffed up patriotic lore

They had parties so galore

Where their verse would always soar

Great gowns trailed along the floor

To praise a nation they’d adore

And when the men come home in rags

Or brown and bloody body bags

Will you still wave silly flags

Bellow bravado and mean brags

Assert that peace is for old hags

Or petty pathetic little fags

Or will your courage show the sags

Vastest nation tied in snags
