Imelda Marcos and her expectation of support from gay people

The regnant, ruling Queen

With exuberance and spleen

Has decided to be obscene

And make severed heads careen

Down polished, gilded boulevards

Free of Jews and communards

But pretty boys in leotards

Give the lady their regards

The Catholic church so Sainted

Where the voter candles flickered

Where the priests took boys and snickered

Where the gothic shadows lengthened

Tells the flock to love the State

And themselves to flagellate

If they dare to meditate

On the wicked world sensate

And the Church and State are one

And freedom is undone

The fabrications have been spun

The prison walls weigh a ton
